— from Carol Kulminski —

Since Weight Watchers held its first meeting at the Funhouse on January 5, 2013, many members have achieved Lifetime status with Weight Watchers. This means that the members can come to meetings free, get all the printed materials, and all the digital tools as long as they weigh in once a month and maintain their weight loss within a two-pound range.

Our Lifetime members offer a wealth of information and inspiration. New members are in awe when a Lifetime member shares that they have lost 50 to 80 pounds. They share improved medical test results and how they lead a more active lifestyle. Even members who had 10-20 pounds to lose share how they are eating healthier foods and have learned to be more active with a more positive mindset.

This coming year, Oprah will be much more involved with the company and individual members through videos and member calls.

“Since I’ve started Weight Watchers, I’ve lost over 40 pounds. I feel more present in every aspect of my life, and I can honestly tell you that I struggle no more. I truly believe that if this can work for me, it can work for anyone,” Oprah says.

The focus is to live “Beyond the Scale” and to “Live Fully.” You are invited to come and see our Lifetime members doing just that.

Orcas Weight Watchers meets every Monday at the Funhouse. First time visitors are free. You can find the meeting times on Weight Watchers.com.
