I am writing in support of Lovel Pratt for County Council (District 1). I have known and worked with Lovel for 10 years, and have always found her to be smart, thoughtful and fair in her decision-making.
I first met Lovel when she was the Executive Director of the San Juan Community Home Trust. In that capacity, I watched Lovel navigate complex challenges with grace and an openness that allowed her to make sound decisions to advance the Home Trust’s mission. More recently, as a County Council person, I’ve seen Lovel take those same critical thinking, financial analysis and listening skills and apply them to the challenges facing our island community.
Lovel is an incredible listener, and reaches out to islanders from all walks of life in an effort to find solutions that best serve our entire community. Lovel is a hard worker who has advocated tirelessly on behalf of all the citizens of San Juan County. Please consider joining me in voting for Lovel!
