||| FROM ORCAS ISLAND ODD FELLOWS |||
The Halloween Dance was a big success! Fun costumes, people dancing, connecting, and having a great time! Such a fun evening with dance music provided by The Studs! Song after song all night long shared with such earnestness, skill, and fun!
Graduating high school students will benefit with scholarships that will send them on their way into the world with money and community support. Did you know our scholarships are not based on grade point average? The criteria are community involvement, kindness towards others, and values the Odd Fellows believe help elevate the character of humankind! All who came to the dance and contributed are thanked for their contributions!
If you didn’t get a chance to attend and would like to contribute, it’s not too late! You can send a donation to the Odd Fellows PO Box 1286 E/S 98245. If you don’t do checks, reach out to us and we’ll give you new and modern ways to give! www.oddshall.org
We want to especially thank our generous sponsors: Jensen Contracting Services and Jensen Rentals, Larson Storage, Kingfish Inn and Restaurant, Doe Bay Resort, San Juan Pest Control, Jim and Dow Kruse (Island Pie and The Skillet), Country Corner Market, Tony & Jenny Hair Studio, Orcas Island Rental Car, Geri & David Turnoy, and the often quoted–anonymous.
Special thanks to our costume prize donors (what fun the costume prizes were!): Ace Hardware, Aurora, Doe Bay Wine Company, Dragonfly Coffee House, Forest Ceramic, Ladybug Pizza, Linda and Michael Elder, Orcas Bakery, Orcas Distillery Tasting Room, Orcas Island Winery, Orcas Rising.
See you at the Odd Fellows Hall Community Thanksgiving dinner!
