I am new to San Juan Island and am happy to be joining this incredible community. One of the many things I value about the San Juan Islands is the communities overwhelming support of the environment, land, shores, and sea are all protected.

I don’t understand why so many Islanders would support a candidate who will work to erode protections and believes in land development. Do Islanders really want more development on the Islands? That seems really out of touch to me.

From what I have learned about Stephanie O’Day she doesn’t genuinely seem interested in protecting the Islands but more for allowing bigger and new developments that get to skip out on the permitting process. Which would put the Islands ecosystem at risk.

So why vote for her when you have another candidate who will protect the Island environment and help San Juan County’s growth?
