It really bothers and disappoints me that The San Juan County Democrats Election 2024 flyer recommend Kari McVeigh. I feel it is no longer about party affiliation, but who can “Protect the Island Way of Life!”
Stephanie O’Day has long, deep, strong roots here on the rock. Not only has she created affordable housing, but she knows first-hand how important and desperately it is needed to “Protect the Island Way of Life.”
Gene and I too have built affordable housing: Terra Bella Lane, and we are very proud to have taken on that 3-year project regardless of the hoops we had to jump through and the ridiculous “contingencies” — although in retrospect the total street’s circular sidewalks have proved to be a good enhancement to that lovely cul-de-sac.
Stephanie totally has our vote.
