My name is Mark Fickel. My family roots go back since the late 1800s at Point Lawrence on Orcas and then in 1944 my grandparents and Rick’s, along with others, purchased the old Moultray farm near Doe Bay, now known as Shorewood.
I have known Rick his whole life and our families have been extremely close. My endorsement is personal. I know Rick’s heart and his passion for this place and the people here and have seen his integrity and commitment all these years. He cares deeply for this place and the legacy we have and will give his all to be a good steward of that responsibility.
He has a solid balance in his views which I think will again serve this community well. His commitment is unmatched. Thank you.
