I received a phone call informing me that I would be receiving my vaccination shot on Friday, Feb 5. As is normal with anything new, I was nervous, worried and having a little bit of fear I was told to go to Orcas Center and when I saw all the cars and people, I wondered what was going on. Little did I know the scope of this operation.

From the moment you arrive, there is someone there to explain what will happen. They give you a form to fill out and you await your turn, in my case about 1 minute. You are ushered in where more people greet you and prepare you for your shot. Once the shot is given, you then sit for 15 minutes to make sure there is no adverse reaction. If all is normal, you can leave.
I could not believe the way this was organized. New York has Yankee Stadium and LA has Dodger Stadium, but we have Orcas Center. Whoever put this together, gathered the professionals and volunteers deserve way more credit than I or anyone else could give.
The only thing left to say is: WAY TO GO, PEOPLE, AND A LOT OF ATTA BOY.
