Dear Jury Manager,

The last time I was called for jury duty, age 75 or older was an automatic excuse from serving. Now I see this is changed dramatically to age 80 or over, PLUS being UNABLE TO SERVE FOR HEALTH REASONS.

I thought I had been set free from this responsibility and I will it admit it did not seem entirely fair. But I am caught off balance to have this freedom suddenly jerked away.

I am guessing the excuse was never in the RCWs but was a kindness our county provided to old folks, the luxury of which we can no longer afford? Or have the RCWs actually changed to deal with the reality of an aging population?

Sorry to impinge on your busy schedule with this request but I would be grateful to understand what happened, and why.
