OI Booster Club wholeheartedly thanks the many volunteers and staff (who volunteer much of their time) who help make winter basketball season a big success. It is so fun to watch this group come together December-February, sometimes three days a week, to pull off home games in our High School gym. And they did it like pros, hosting a State Playoff Game with very little notice. What a great team! Our winter season heroes include, but are not limited to:
Justin Paulsen for his diehard support and enthusiastic announcing. Mike Kulper, Kevin White, and Cathy Faulkner for great announcing. Isaac Figueroa, Carlie Rankin, and other student supporters and fans. Janna Carter, Kim Freeman, and Rebekah Hardee for helping with the gate, clock, and anywhere else. Mary Garcia, Sandie Harper, and Lisa Gage for masterful keeping of the book and clock. All of the volunteer helpers in the concession booth. Jimmy for never-ending custodial. Our dedicated bus drivers. All of our coaches for their hours on and off the court: Sada Ashcraft, Jack Gates, Ed Lago, and Jay Sack. Ryan Wilson for mad travel skilz.
