— from Anita Orne —

All of us at the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival would like to thank everyone who made our 19th season such a wonderful success! From the opening punch of Time for Three to the wistful closing notes of the Miró Quartet’s Ashokan Farewell, from sold out concerts on Lopez and at Orcas Center to the free Hamlet and Children’s Concerts and Open Rehearsal for Seniors, and so many other special moments and events, we have all enjoyed two and a half weeks of amazing music and camaraderie.

Once again, Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann and Artistic Advisor Jon Kimura Parker, along with all of our wonderful guest artists, have brought us the very best.

But none of it would happen without you: our patrons, our donors, our staff, our board, our 100+ volunteers, our friends, and we are so grateful to each and every one of you.

We’re already working on next August, our 20th Anniversary Season, guaranteed to be another phenomenal experience. I look forward to seeing you all there.
