From the National League of Women Voters Education Fund
The last few days of election 2011 are upon us and we are working at a fever pitch to get voters the information they are looking for about their upcoming elections. Please help us by forwarding this message to family, friends, neighbors and colleagues so that we can all do our part to help everyone be a part of Election Day and make sure people get to the polls.
- VOTE411.org, our “one-stop-shop” for election information is the single best resource for voters on the Internet. With just days left to the election, VOTE411.org — including our helpful polling place locator, nonpartisan candidate information, and all the info you’ll need on Election Day — is the site to visit before heading to the polls. Visit VOTE411.org and tell your friends to do the same!
- League members in communities and neighborhoods around the country have been doing important work to empower and inform voters. They have been holding candidate debates, preparing voter guides and working side-by-side with elections officials to be sure everyone is ready for their upcoming elections.
- Help the League raise awareness of any voting problems. If you see, hear about or encounter any voting problems, report them on Twitter – #votingproblems.
We’re just a few days out from the elections this month. Time is running out so visit VOTE411.org – and tell your friends to do the same – to make sure you have everything you need to go vote!
