Repairs underway, but may take a couple of weeks
— from San Juan County Public Works —
February 6, 2020 Update
Please be advised that continued rainfall and water levels have delayed planned repairs. Emergency repair work will resume as soon as site conditions permit.

San Juan County Public Works closed Killebrew Lake Road (East of LaPorte Rd) this past Saturday (February 1) as a result of severe flooding damage.
The road is currently impassable to ALL traffic, including emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
On Monday February 3 the County Council declared an emergency expediting repair work. On Tuesday February 4 repair work commenced and is currently expected to take two (2) weeks and cost approximately $80,000. Construction crews will be working every day to expedite the re-opening of this County Road.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes, including Dolphin Bay Rd.
Thank you for your patience. Please drive safely.
