Joe Symons and Anita Orne of Island Stewards launch “A Vote for the Future” a book geared for Middle School students

There are just about three weeks left in the Vote 4 the Future Indiegogo campaign.

The campaign’s goal is to raise money to contact middle school teachers in Washington State (and beyond if possible) about a free e-book (A Vote 4 the Future) that they can in turn pass on to their students. There are about 400 public and 200 private middle schools in Washington, touching thousands of middle school students.

We need your support. Adults are not taking sufficient action to combat global climate disruption. A Vote 4 the Future inspires teenagers to take action in a fun, realistic and effective way. You can download a pdf copy of the e-book here or for your iPad, here.

As of this week, we have reached about 20% of our goal. The video on the campaign site explains everything; everyone who has viewed it finds it delightful. We hope you do too.

Please support our campaign with funds, with sharing it with your network via email, FaceBook, word of mouth—however you can help us spread the word. Know any teachers? Please let them know!

All contributions are tax deductible as Island Stewards is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Read about our work, and look at our other free e-books, at IslandStewards.org

We welcome your ideas; with your help, our goal is to make this initiative go national.
