Saturday, February 17, 2 p.m., Odd Fellows
— from Peter Fisher —
Interested in Madrona Point’s future? On Saturday, February 17, at 2 p.m., Peter Fisher will show a KOMO-TV4 video clip from 1989 about Madrona Point at Odd Fellows in Eastsound. He will present the Lummi Vision from documents dating 1987 through 1993.
In addition, Dean Washington, a canoe builder and a Lummi cultural leader, will talk about his ideas for what he would like to see happen at Madrona Point.
Don’t miss this event. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free.

Great to hear you and Dean will be presenting together. I will miss being there and hope you have a great turnout. Madrona Point is such an important piece of Orcas, for Lummi and other Islanders.
Sounds wonderful!
Nice work putting this together Peter…I’ll be there Saturday @ 2:00 pm, Odd Fellows Hall.
How long has the public been denied access to the Point?
