Seeing a wide range of lived experience and perspectives among the ranks of civic and government leaders has a powerful effect, particularly for communities of people who have historically been denied a seat at tables of power.
For Gov. Jay Inslee, who has sought to improve equity across Washington’s legal justice system, increasing diversity on court benches has been an ongoing effort. He has sought to appoint judges and justices at every level of the court system that ensure the state’s courts are more reflective of the people they serve. The governor’s appointments have also created a pipeline of highly-qualified judges who are being tapped for higher courts. President Biden, like President Obama before him, has elevated some of the governor’s appointees to the federal bench.
From district and county courts to the Washington Supreme Court, the personal stories of the judges the governor appointed are inspirational — and a reminder of the importance of inclusion across all branches of government.

Inslee an his democratic party has destroyed this State. With democrats going soft on crime there is no justice or rule of law. The police make arrest an the court system let criminals walk the next day. Plus it’s ok for Inslee, the AG, an the democratic party to break laws to forward there agenda. Inslee, the AG an the democratic party are immoral gutless cowards.
As usual the judges are always very liberal and only represent the west side of the state. I’m not sure if anyone even knows that their is a conservative east side.
I would leave this state if it were possible and continue to dissuade others from coming here. Inslee and the dems have ruined Tom Pat it for all the rest of us.
So Inslee worried about the crimes and the justice system we had. I got a question, Then why I nstead of making it harder for hood law-abiding-citizens from protecting themselves, and easier on criminals,?

You do the crime do the time. No quarter
The majority of the elected officials devising gun control legislation are ignorant of the federal definition of an assualt rifle and mis represent what one is. The key requirement to be an assualt rifle is it is capable of full automatic fire. The civilian AR 15 is not capable of full automatic fire and not an assualt rifle by the federal definition. There is no diffreance between a common semiautomatic hunting rifle and the so called civilian AR 15. This is a gross ignorance shared between most of our elected officials and anti gun proponents. To be ignorant is fixable by learning but not learning by choice is just plain stupid.
