dragonflyillustrationEntomologist James Miskelly will be our guide as we discover the world of insects around us. James is a Saanich-based biologist with interests in insects, plants, and restoration.

He is a Research Associate in Entomology at the Royal BC Museum and a member of the federal committee that advises government on the status of rare insects in Canada. Be prepared to learn!

Meet at the South Trailhead parking area (Deer Harbor Road/Wild Rose Lane).

Walking will be moderate, total distance two miles or less. Water and binoculars recommended.
