From Islanders for Better Government
On Sunday October 21 at 2 p.m. at the Eastsound Fire Hall, several Charter Review Commissioners from Orcas, Lopez and San Juan will hold a forum to help voters learn more about the proposed Charter amendments.
The Commissioners will speak about the Charter review process and all three proposals. There will be ample opportunity for questions and discussion.
This forum is presented by Islanders for Better Government, which is campaigning for passage of the amendments. We hope that Orcas Islanders will use this opportunity to fully inform themselves about the Charter’s history and its impact on county government.
