Saturday, March 16, 7:30 p.m., Orcas Community Church

From Cindy Carter

If you missed the Orcas Has Talent show, now is your chance for a reprieve.  Many of the wonderful performers from that show are donating their talents to help with a project in an impoverished neighborhood in LA.  Scott Harris, youth pastor at Orcas Island Community Church, is leading a group of high school students to LA over spring break, and they will be immersed in a diverse cultural environment with an opportunity to serve and assist in the building or repairing of homes or shelters.  All proceeds from the concert will go to fund a project for the kids to improve the lives of others.  They will report on the project back to the community.  The group is working to put on this show, which should be a fun evening besides helping people in need.

Featured All Stars from show will be Cali Bagby, Conrad Wrobel, Matthew the Magician, Kellen Comrie, KT Laslo, ALLmost Canadian in a special encore presentation, and many more!  Donations for the project will be collected at the door.  Contact Cindy Carter 376-2187) for more details.

Don’t miss this fun evening while donating to a cause to help out brothers and sisters down south.  “You’ve Got a Friend”, a song sung at the Orcas Has Talent show, is true indeed.
