||| FROM STATE TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION |||
The Washington State Transportation Commission is conducting a new FROG survey and we want you to hear about your experience and satisfaction using Washington State Ferries during the past few months (June – September 2022).
This survey has been designed to inform Washington State Ferries operations, as well as address requirements in state law that WSF and the Transportation Commission report the data gathered in the FROG surveys to the Governor and Legislature.
Please take the survey today. You can access it here: CLICK HERE (UPDATED LINK)
Thank you for your input and participation!

The canned survey questions are perhaps useful to WSF for collecting ridership statistics, but they don’t address the current San Juan Islands ferry situation at all. I’d urge everyone to fill out the survey but then to use the comments box at the very end to really give serious feedback on the atrocious ferry service to the San Juans — the crewing issues, mechanical issues with old ferries, etc. Of course, we should also all be writing letters to Olympia, too, not just communicating our unhappiness to WSF. Someone (not I!) should organize islanders for a big 1-day demonstration/ferry protest down in Olympia, except that we might be unable to get there with the current highly unreliable ferry service.
I clicked the FROG link to do my civic duty and this is what I got:
“We appreciate your interest. It appears that you have already taken the survey and cannot take it again.
Thank you!”
Well I haven’t and didn’t. Thank YOU very much!
