Orcas Island Community Church invites you to join us for our Holy Week services. Our Maundy Thursday service on April 6, will be held at 7:00 pm. This service will focus on Jesus’ last supper with his disciples and the washing of their feet.

On Good Friday, April 7, a Tenebrae service will be held at 7:00 pm. This service will be a solemn observance of Jesus’ crucifixion, with the gradual extinguishing of candles symbolizing the darkness that fell upon the land.

We will have a self-guided Holy Saturday prayer vigil in the Sanctuary from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.The Holy Week services will culminate with a joyful celebration of Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 9, at 10:00 am.

Before that, a sunrise service will be held on Mt. Constitution starting at 5:45 am.”We are excited to invite the community to join us in observing Holy Week,” said Brian Moss, senior pastor of Orcas Island Community Church. “This is a time for reflection, prayer, and renewal as we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us and the hope his resurrection brings.”
