The Fall Healing Arts Fair at the Healing Arts Center on North Beach Road in Eastsound Saturday and Sunday, October 29–30. This fundraiser, offered twice a year, lets people try out the practitioners’ services at a greatly discounted rate. Acupuncture and several types of massage are very popular.The rate is $45/hour, and some services are offered by the half-hour at $25. Sessions fill up early, so call the Healing Arts Certer at 376-4002, or stop by 453 North Beach Road between 9 and 3, Monday through Saturday, and reserve an appointment or two.

Don Giovanni, Live at the Met in HD, at the Orcas Center at 1 p.m. hosted by Renée Fleming. The HD opera perfomance’s running time is approximately 3 hours and 27 minutes, including one intermission.
