Fall Festival at Camp Orkila: Grab a hot dog, press some cider, climb the rock wall, aim for the archery target, get your face painted,  and, at 6 p.m., hop aboard a family fun Hay Ride  Also: Zip line! Foor 3rd graders and up, 285 lb weight limit. Must call camp at 360.376.2678 to sign-up for a time assignment. Haunted Hayride for older kids 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. every 20 minutes. Pumpkin Fest in downtown Eastsound with events from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Fall Healing Arts Fair at the Healing Arts Center on North Beach Road in Eastsound  Saturday and Sunday, October 29–30. This fundraiser, offered twice a year, lets people try out the practitioners’ services at a greatly discounted rate. Acupuncture and several types of massage are very popular.The rate is $45/hour, and some services are offered by the half-hour at $25. Sessions fill up early, so call the Healing Arts Certer at 376-4002, or stop by 453 North Beach Road between 9 and 3, Monday through Saturday, and reserve an appointment or two.

Don Giovanni, Live at the Met in HD,  at the Orcas Center at 1 p.m. hosted by Renée Fleming. The HD opera perfomance’s running time is approximately 3 hours and 27 minutes, including one intermission. Tickets for Don Giovanni are $15 for adults and $11 for students. $2 off for Orcas Center members and may be purchased at www.orcascenter.org or by calling  376-2281 ext 1 or visiting the Orcas Center Box Office open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon- 4 pm
