June 30 deadline for Chamber of Commerce Community Parade
Get ready for the 2012 Orcas Island Community Parade on Saturday, July 7, beginning at 11 a.m.
The parade theme this year is “Grow, Gather, Share: Celebrating Orcas Farms.” This year, the community parade prizes are sponsored by Island Market. 1st Place prize for the top float will be $100 cash, and 2nd & 3rd Place prizes will be $50 Island Market Gift Certificates!
Parade Entry fee is $20, and Saturday, June 30 is the deadline for applications. 100% of all fees and donations will go towards helping pay for the Eastsound fireworks show.
Donations are always gladly accepted. Pick up your application at the Chamber office or download an application from the Chamber site at and return to the Chamber with your entry fee…we’ll see you in the Parade!
