greenhomeCome learn from our local experts about the different ways you can reduce your homes energy demand from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday, October 22 at Episcopal Parish Hall in Eastsound.

Learn about green technologies and service organizations designed to help you reduce your energy bills and carbon footprint. We will be touring several green built or retrofitted homes and buildings. This is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions from local experts, and see green home features first hand.

Highlights on the tour include ductless heat pumps, solar arrays, water catchment, solar hot water, a learning thermostat, and a public Electric Vehicle Charging station.

Open House with vendors starts at 11:00, with speakers from 11:30 – 12:30. Green Home Tour starts at 1:00.  We will be carpooling in electric vehicles for the tour.
