Grace McCune announces the release of her latest CD, “From the Direct Box of the Soul.”
A concert will take place on Saturday February 2nd to celebrate its release in the beautiful music room at the Rosario Resort Mansion. There will be a meet and greet hour in the lounge at Rosario from 6:00-7:00 followed by the concert upstairs in the music room at 7:00. Hosted by Jake Perrine, Grace will be joined by musicians Martin Lund, Carolyn Cruso and Violinist Joel Gamble. Admission is free.
McCune says, “I couldn’t have done this CD without the amazing support I received from the community I live in of Orcas Island. Earlier in 2012 I did a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for the project and to my humble amazement it got successfully funded.
“In addition to this I had a full cast of Orcas Island musicians who brought their love and talent to this dream of mine to create “From the Direct Box of the Soul.”
Thank you to everyone who was a part of making this happen- I couldn’t be happier with this CD- and I hope you all are too!
