A popular Orcas Island lunch spot is at risk of closing as its owner faces mounting financial challenges.

The West Side Kitchen has been hit by unexpected setbacks, including the sudden arrival of owner Andi’s son, staffing losses, and repeated closures due to building issues.

After months of lost income, Andi has fallen $23,000 behind in taxes, threatening both the restaurant and their family’s stability. A GoFundMe has been created to help:

Per the GoFundMe: “Andi isn’t asking for a handout, he’s asking for a chance to keep doing what he loves and keep the doors open. He wants to keep supporting local farmers and keep feeding you an affordable and unique lunch.”
