The Annual Holiday Festival of Arts will be held this year on November 27th from 10 – 4 at the Senior Center.
The Senior Center Raffle has begun with only 3 items this year due to the fact that we went to business asking for help with the Coupon Book. The items we have are a quilt by Karen Blinn, a DeWalt Tool box, and a knitted “sheep blanket” by Magdalena Verhasselt.
The tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. They can be purchased at the Senior Center during the week and at Island Market on Saturdays.
It is one of the two major fund raisers for the Center. We have over 40 local artisans selling their wares, including glass jewelry, etched glass items, soaps and lotions, wooden cutting boards and a wide variety of other items. Admission is $1.00 or a donation to the Food Bank.
There will of course be the wonderful bake sale, hot Panini sandwiches to purchase and musical entertainment by Matthew Olson ‘s violin students. Martin Lund will be performing.
It will also be the first Holiday visit by Santa and Mrs. Clause. Get your picture taken with Santa to share with your family and friends.
