The school cafeteria, that is, to once again conjure up an unforgettable lunch for our public school kids on Thursday, February 17.  The menu that Geddes Martin, Chef of the Inn At Ship Bay, will be serving is home made sausage links as only Geddes can make, roasted potatoes, cabbage salad, apple butter and bread.  Teachers, parents and the community are welcome to partake in this wonderful lunch, or any time, in our school cafeteria.  Cost for adults is only $5, which includes the salad bar and a beverage.

On March 16, Cafe Olga owner and chef Bobby Olmstead (who also coaches our high school golf teams and led them to several state victories) and his wife, Bev, will be our Celebrity Chefs.  “I’m not sure exactly what we’ll be serving yet,” says Bobby, “but I know what kids like, and it’ll be good!”  Probably an understatement.

Stay tuned!  Following Bobby and Bev will be Dave Mowrey of Country Corner, Matt Carpenter of Deer Harbor Inn, Steve Debaste of New Leaf Café, and Christina Orchid rounding out our impressive roster of Celebrity Chefs for 2011.
