||| FROM ORCAS ISLAND GARDEN CLUB |||
We’re looking for a few enthusiastic volunteers on next Monday, April 7th at 10:00 am to help out a local school garden. We need just one hour of your time to prepare the beds so the students, ages 4 through high school, can proceed with planting their veggie starts.
Tasks are simple, primarily weeding and you’ll get a chance to work along side a few Master Gardeners. Any amount of time you can volunteer will be greatly appreciated. Tools and kneeling mats are provided but please plan to bring your own gloves.
The Orcas Christian School is located at: 107 Enchanted Forest Road in Eastsound.
