“Welcoming and Designing Roses to Your Garden” with Nita-Jo Rountree will be the featured speaker at the Garden Club’s first meeting of its 2015-16 year.
Ms. Rountree, prior to relocating to the Northwest, began her garden design in Atlanta, Georgia. She has had her Bellevue garden featured on HGTV’s Gardening by the Yard. She presently serves on the Steering Committee of Heronswood Nursery and is on the Board of Directors of the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society.
Nita-Jo is now a Seattle-based garden designer and educator, a frequent guest on Gardening with Ciscoe, and a past-President of the Northwest Horticultural Society. Using garden-design principles, she will teach us how to successfully incorporate a variety of roses into our mixed beds and landscapes.
