||| FROM ORCAS ISLAND GARDEN CLUB |||

With a theme of “All Together Now” what more perfect way to support pollinator health, raise awareness and spread the word about what we can do to respect and protect them by participating in the parade.

This is the first time in many, many years that the club has participated in the parade and we are ready to astound!

Our float is filled with delightful garden friends and we need as many Garden Club members as possible to walk with us to show the community that we care!

THE DETAILS:

  • Plan to park at the Orcas Island Community Church around 11:00 am. Road will begin to close shortly thereafter to accommodate the parade. The parade begins at noon.
  • Look for the grand OIGC float somewhere in the line up ~ you won’t miss our 14 foot trailer float adorned in garden creatures.
  • Wear something festive ~ dress in costume
  • Bring your smile and enthusiasm!

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU???

  • Have some fun!
  • Get some exercise!
  • Support our local pollinator friends!
  • Meet some other members!
  • Enjoy a close and in person encounter with Stanley, the famous snail, and Olivia, the beautiful dragonfly.
Don’t be shy! Hope to see you there!
