On Saturday of Independence Day weekend, before the parade, The Funhouse Commons will hold it’s 3rd annual “FC5.”
Divisions include a 5K run, 5K walk, and a 1K kids’ run. Walkers will start at 8:45, The kids’ race will start at 9:00, and runners will start at 9:15.
The 5K will start at the Village Green and end at the Eastsound Fire Hall. Run your miles and then join the annual pancake breakfast at the Fire Hall!
Preregistration is encouraged, at www.funhousecommons.org.
The 5K fee is $40. The kids’ race fee is $10. The 5K fee includes a t-shirt, and additional shirts or kids’ shirts may be purchased for $15. New this year is a VIP supporter option – those registering at this $100 level will receive a special swag bag.
