Il Barbiere di Siviglia— “The Barber of Seville,” originally transmitted live on March 24, 2007 will be shown at Orcas Center’s Main Stage this Friday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Rossini’s comic opera, staged by Tony award-winning director Bartlett Sher, features an all-star cast including tenor Juan Diego Flórez as Count Almaviva, mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato as Rosina, and baritone Peter Mattei in the title role of Figaro. John Relyea sings Don Basilio, and John Del Carlo sings Doctor Bartolo. Maurizio Benini conducts.
