Eastsound Mayor debates noon at the Stage on the Village Green. Meet Mikey the Golden Retriever, Eggitha the chicken, April the cow and Dakota the Great Dane.  All votes benefit Children’s House.

Spotlight in the Off Center. Musician Alice DMicele  performs at the Orcas Center at 7:30 p.m. Inspired by activists and folks doing good things for the earth, Di Micele’s songs reflect the beauty of this planet with a voice that reminds some people of Phoebe Snow, others of blues musician Rory Block, and others of a female Ben Harper.  Tickets are $12. 376-2281 or www.orcascenter.org.

An Evening With Singer/Songwriter Jeff Johnson & Writer Stephen Lawhead –Stephen Lawhead is an internationally renowned author of epic and historical fiction. His books, which have been translated into 24 languages, include The Song of Albion series, The Pendragon Cycle, and most recently a re-imagining of the Robin Hood.  For three decades Jeff Johnson has produced and recorded a body of work reflecting his journey of faith and creative musings.
