The fragrant fields will be in full bloom and lined with white tents and colorful banners inviting guests to stroll the Makers Fair and join in the celebration at a lovely outdoor summer fair on San Juan Island, Saturday, August 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at the beautiful Pelindaba Lavender Farm. Individual and group Makers booths showcase the best of the San Juans and guests can enjoy a picnic lunch, listen to island music, and experience the height of summer and the amazing creativity of Island Makers. Island made wine, cider and spirits are being served for a true taste of the San Juans.

FULL BLOOM is a collaborative all-islands event hosted by the county-wide San Juan Makers Guild and Pelindaba Lavender Farm. Thanks to County LTAC support, this event is free to the public. There will be more than two dozen local artists and artisans, along with food producers, island music, picnic food, kids activities, and farm strolls.

Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit the San Juan County Arts Council. Email Marcy at support@sanjuanmakersguild.com with any questions.

The San Juan Islands Makers Guild’s mission is to foster and promote locally made products, increase public engagement in the Islands’ Maker Movement, and undertake strategic community-based economic strengthening. A core value of the Guild is celebrating and sharing the unique island landscapes, lifestyles and creative industries of San Juan County, Washington. The Guild offers activities for Makers, Learners, Buyers, Small Businesses and Maker Organizations across all creative industries.
