Formal Tea Service? Yes.
Your Mother’s Tea? No.
The Friends of the Library invite you to a kickoff to the holiday season as we have done for about 40 years. This year it is happening on Saturday, December 4, 2010, from 1-4.
During these three hours, Orcas musicians will fill the air with beautiful sounds, children will make personalized tree ornaments, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit and there will be tea, coffee, punch, small sandwiches and cookies.
There will even be some help with Christmas lists in the form of beautiful books offered for only $5, $10, and $15.
Chairperson Jean Soderquist announced there will be a Children’s Table this year with special food and drink (juice boxes, anyone?) for the young visitors.
Ovens all around Orcas will be on and cookie aromas will be filling many a kitchen as the community prepares for this anticipated event. Come and enjoy with us.
It’s free!
