The Board of Fire Commissioners will be canceling the regularly scheduled meeting on September 18, 2017 due to lack of quorum. The public will be notified as soon as the meeting is rescheduled.

With no new business on their meeting agenda for Monday, September 18, at 5:30 p.m., the Board of Fire Commissioners will be addressing the following Old Business items at their next meeting:
Chief’s Report Old Business
1. Additional disclosure added ot the financial spreadsheet
2. Financial reports provided to the commissioners several days before the meeting.
3. Reinstate two public comment periods at the BOFC meetings
4. Public comment limited to two minutes
5. Draft Documents provided to the public
6. Posting of minutes and other public record documents posted on website
7. 2018 Budget Planning
8. Strategic Plan 2019-2022
The next regular BOFC Meeting will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
Are you kidding me !! The reason for expanding the Board to five members was to assure that a quorum could be established in order to conduct the District’s business, ON OUR BEHALF.
Having been elected to very many boards over the past forty years, I have always structured my plans and schedule around my elected responsibilities to serve the community.
SO, what’s the deal !! Which two of the five members ARE meeting their obligation to us?
