||| FROM DAVID & GERI TURNOY |||
Just wanting to remind you that the Native American Canoe Journey arrives at the Olga dock on Wednesday, May 22, at about 3:00. There will be a street fair on the Olga Community Club grounds, including entertainment and artisan vendors, starting at about 2:00. Then a community potluck will take place at about 5:00 at the same location.
If you would like to attend the potluck, please let us know if you will be bringing a salad, entree, or dessert. Please contact Geri Turnoy at davidgeri@rockisland.com by email or at 503-548-7845 by text. A little card listing the ingredients to be put with the dish would be helpful. If you are just planning on attending the potluck, please plan to arrive by 4:30 so dishes can be set up to begin serving by 5:00.
We could still use a little help with setup, cleanup, parking, and other tasks as they come up. To help with setup, please arrive between noon and 12:30. Use the same contact information above to get in touch with us. This is a big undertaking, and the more help we have, the more successful it will be.
