Soroptimists International of Friday Harbor has a yearly award of $4000 for a women who is the primary support for her family, who is enrolled in a vocational training or other educational program, and who has financial need. This award can be used for any expenses incurred while receiving her education.
Soroptimists provide support in many ways for women and girls in our community and this is part of our program, designed to empower women through education.
The online application can be accessed through our website, www.sifri.org. We can provide hard copy applications if needed, and will be happy to answer questions at sifrib4w@gmail.com. The deadline for receipt of applications is November 15, 2024.
