A Beautiful waltz is a highlight of "Simply Ballroom"
The Utah Ballroom Dance Company is coming to Orcas Center with their award-winning showcase Simply Ballroom, Friday, May 13 at 7: 30 pm. Audiences will be treated to breath-taking lifts, beautiful costumes, captivating theatrical story lines and a variety of ballroom dances that will capture your heart.
Dances include the elegant American foxtrot to Gene Kelly’s Singing in the Rain, the intense Spanish Paso Doble to the music from The Legend of Zorro, the majestic Austrian Waltz to the timeless Moon River, the exciting Latin Samba of Brazil, the rhythmical Cha Cha from Cuba, and many more.

The Simply Ballroom stage production has magnificent and scintillating choreography from some of the top ballroom dancers in the world. Simply Ballroom is a show that everyone will love!
The Utah Ballroom Dance Company is the United States National Formation Champion in both Latin American and Standard Ballroom dancing for 2009-2010 and Simply Ballroom features the two medleys that won them the Championships. They have toured throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and Latin America receiving numerous accolades for their performances. The company maintains a touring program that typically reaches more than 75 cities across the United States and abroad. With more than 100 performances each year, this professional ensemble delights, entertains and uplifts thousands worldwide.
Tickets for Simply Ballroom are $15 and may be purchased on the website or by calling 376-2281 ext 1 or visiting the Orcas Center box office during box office hours which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon- 4 pm.
