The Eastsound Planning Review Committee has scheduled a special meeting for tomorrow, January 20 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Eastsound Fire Hall. The public is welcome to attend.
On the agenda are:
- Creation of a 2011 work plan and priorities in draft for the Feb. 15 County Council meeting scheduled for Orcas Island;
- Review of the “Nelson file” and other items under consideration with moving the Eastsound Sub-area Plan Development Standards into the Uniform Development Code (UDC)Planning Docket: #17 — simplifying use tables and evaluation of current design requirements in order to prioritize the items to be updated and review design standards selected for transfer into UDC;
- Review draft procedural for EPRC Plan Review to provide a format for regular review and comment on projects in the Sub-area Plan;
- Read and present Letter from EPRC in support of the Eastsound Design Review Subcommittee’s review of the Ocean Forest development (east of the intersection of Lovers Lane and Main Street) to County Planning and Development (CDPD) Official;
- Review the Craftsmen Corner conditional use permit received by the EPRC in December, 2010.
The Eastsound Planning Review Committee is a County advisory committee. It meets regularly on the first Thursday of the month at 3 p.m. in the Eastsound Fire Hall, and reports periodically to the community and to the County Council.
