Come celebrate Earth Day Orcas – all month long in April. Organizations from across the islands are joining to offer a month of inspiring and educational, fun and creative community activities.
Parade is on Sat. Apr 26th and parade costume and prop workshops are Sat. March 22 at School Cafeteria and Sat. Apr 5th at West Sound Hall. Open Studios, group contingent projects, and you are welcome to bring materials to share with others or share in materials in our donation collection. Let’s upcycle! Save a seat at earthdayorcas.org
Earth Day Month – This event celebrates life on Orcas – It IS a village! Dozens of island creatives, scientists, and indigenous storytellers and dancers are joining hands to bring you wonderful experiences in April. Parade workshops, nature walks, marine science, film fest, climate impacts, music and dance, poetry, storytelling and more!
