Saturday, March 21, Noon, American Legion
— from Cindy Carter —
Eagle Forum of SJC is holding their annual meeting on March 21st at the American Legion Hall. Lunch will be served while Rick Boucher has a slide show of his family’s recent visit to South Korea. His daughter, Jenny Boucher, recently was promoted to rank of Captain in the US Army, and serves as a nurse at the station in Korea. They even visited the de-militarized zone at the border of North and South Korea.
We will also be hearing updates from recently elected county Sheriff Ron Krebs and from our county councilman, Rick Hughes.
The main speaker for the luncheon will be Todd Myers from the WPC’s Center for the Environment. His topic will be concerning the Carbon Emissions Tax and the Environment.
Don’t miss this opportunity to become informed on the issues affecting our state. All are invited! Please join us at the annual meeting. Call 376-2187 or info@orcaseagleforum.org for more information and to reserve your spot at this meeting.
