Orcas Elementary students learning at the Doe Bay Garden
From the Orcas Island Elementary School
First- and second-graders from Anne Ford McGrath’s and Lorena Stankevich’s classes visited Doe Bay Garden this week to get a hands-on lesson in gardening.
We learned about parts of the plant, composting, and the chickens’ role in the garden.
