Dr. Rosie Kuhn has written another book on practical spirituality, now available at Darvilll’s
Dr. Rosie Kuhn, a long time Orcas Island resident, international presenter, and life and business coach, reveals to the world the 101 ways to make every child’s spirit soar, in her latest book, Cultivating Spirituality in Children. It was just released on Amazon and is also available at Darvill’s Bookstore.
Dr. Rosie has been in the business of personal and professional development for over 30 years. From her start as a therapist, she has worked in the field of addictions, trained coaches at Sofia University, in San Francisco, and is now an internationally known Coach and Trainer. Dr. Rosie admits that she straddles the worlds of business and spirituality, and if she can she loves to bring them together. She’s written the ABC’s of Spirituality in Business as a way to cultivate awareness of the importance of spiritual principles within business.
With the birth of her grandson, Andrew, who is nearly five years old, Rosie realized that she wasn’t clear on how to teach spiritual principles to her grandson. “I did a lousy job teaching my children spirituality. I wanted to be more conscious with how I can be a positive influence in Andrew’s life.
“Initially, the book was called: 101 Everyday Opportunities to Practice Before I Preach, saysKuhn. “This truly reflected the need for all of us grownups to walk our talk, while we pay closer attention to aligning our words with our actions. Over the months of writing though, the book’s title changed into 101 Ways to Make Every Child’s Spirit Soar.
Why? Because every parent and every grandparent, as well as every teacher, coach and minister I know wants to make every child’s spirit soar. I wanted to let all grownups know that this book shares some great ideas on how to do just that.”
Cultivating Spirituality in Children is Dr. Rosie’s 8th book. Her earlier works includes: Self-Empowerment 101; You Know You Are Transforming When…, and If Only My Mother Had Told Me (Or Maybe I Just Wasn’t Listening). Dr. Kuhn as trained hundreds of individuals worldwide to become transformational life and business coaches. She provides life coaching and business coaching from her home.
