||| FROM SAN JUAN COUNTY COMMUNICATIONS |||
San Juan County Health & Community Services and Lopez Island Hospital District are partnering with DentALL to offer Community Dental Clinics on Lopez Island. This expansion means essential dental services are now available on Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan Islands.
Community Dental Clinics serve people on Medicaid or those who do not have dental insurance and cannot afford dental care. If you would like an appointment, please fill out the online application here. You will be contacted directly for scheduling. If you apply, but do not receive a call, your application will be held and considered for the next appointment when it becomes available.
The Community Dental Clinics start on Lopez Island on April 24. The rest of the 2025 Lopez clinic dates are:
- May 8 and 22
- June 12 and 26
- July 10 and 24
- August 7 and 21
- September 11 and 25
The Orcas and San Juan Island clinic dates are posted and available online here. There are Spanish-speaking team members present at all Community Dental Clinics.
San Juan County has the lowest rate of Medicaid utilization in Washington state for all ages. The Community Dental Clinics are the result of committed partnerships with community organizations to expand access to dental care. To learn more about these efforts and the impact they have made in our community, check out the 2024 Community Dental Clinic End of Year Report.
