Their performance of Jay’s haunting composition Ashokan Farewell — the musical hallmark of the PBS series — left a lasting impression on everyone who tuned in. The soundtrack won a Grammy and Ashokan Farewell was nominated for an Emmy.
Jay Ungar and Molly Mason are musicians of enormous talent. Their love for music is infectious, and their expertise is superlative. With violin, mandolin, guitar and banjo—not to mention their beautiful vocals—the two delight audiences wherever they go.

A Jay & Molly concert appeals to all ages. Orcas Center is also hosting a Hand on Fiddle and Guitar Music Workshop with Jay Ungar & Molly Mason. Friday April 5, 2-4 pm on Center Stage, Orcas Center. Workshop fee: $10, or free if you have a ticket for the show. This is for a wide range of ages and experience levels at once. Bring your instrument!
