District 1 Council representative Kari McVeigh is hosting another ‘Coffee with Kari’ event during the month of September – an opportunity to ask questions, hear the latest County news, and chat about what matters to locals.
McVeigh began hosting these open-house style meetings last year and has continued the tradition into 2026. Her last meeting was held on San Juan Island in May. The upcoming ‘Coffee with Kari’ will take place on Orcas Island on Saturday, September 12 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Orcas Island Fire and Rescue in East Sound.
“I’m excited to continue meeting with islanders to hear what matters most to you,” said McVeigh.
Light refreshments will be served, so drop in, mingle, and engage with your community!
