The search for an accused child rapist from San Juan County, Sean Michael Hunter (AKA Sunshine), ended last night when he was picked up in Medford, Oregon on a San Juan County fugitive warrant at approximately 9 p.m.
Hunter was wanted for rape of a 12-year old victim. He has been known to visit Sunken Park in Friday Harbor and Moran State Park on Orcas Island.
He will be transported to San Juan County where he will be held pending an appearance in court.
