The Keepers of the Patos Light invite you to join them in celebrating the 124th Birthday of the Patos Island Lighthouse on August 27, 2017.
The Keepers will depart from Brandt’s Landing on the Outer Islands Expedition boats leaving at 7:45 and returning at noon. There will be a short ceremony to introduce the grand opening of a new exhibit funded by the Lighthouse Environmental Program (the lighthouse license plate group).
The exhibit depicts the history of the lighthouse and some of its keepers, as well as the story, The Light on the Island, by Helene Glidden.
