Recently, I had a surprising encounter with Caroline at the Anacortes Activities Center (Senior Center).
We were both there to have our feet cared for. When I walked in, I noticed Caroline as someone I’d met, but was unsure whether it was a new acquaintance at the Center or….It turned out to be Caroline. We had a lively conversation while having our toenails clipped. Voicing that I wished I had something to read while I waited, Caroline handed me a copy of her book….” you can read this”. I bought the book and read it with great pleasure. Her photos and paintings add so much to the experience of walking along with her as she absorbs the life and land in these small Greek islands. What an amazing experience she had!
Caroline is an amazing watercolorist and woman. I will admire her always!
